Car-Los 21st birthday!

Yippee! Here's another birthday post. Yes, the last consecutive birthday before the next birthday. I'm like so going broke. The dinner was on 24 March, Thursday. C had quite a hard time planning for this because now is the period where everyone is busy with work, studies etc. Also, the working offers differ respectively. So glad that we actually can meet up on this special night to celebrate with this dear friend.

For this birthday, we have decided to save on the cake, so we bought him a cup cake instead. It tastes delicious, i guess. :)

Have you tried Marmalade Pantry's cupcakes before? Can tell me if it's nice?

Yes, so where did we have our dinner?

Contemporary Melting Pot & Bar, CM-PB in short.
When C told me that we were going to CMPB for the birthday dinner, I was like "HUH? GO CMPB FOR DINNER?". Guys should know that CMPB is a place where pre-enlistees go to do their body checkups, so my mind was so filled with nurses, doctors, army personnels, medical apparatus, weighing machines, and whatnot. Lol. Funny eh?

Showcasing some food from the restaurant.

Appetizer of the day : Calamari Rings
Reminds me of SYC, where we had calamari rings almost every other day!

P's favourite, as always, pasta.

Eh, this dish looks cool! It's a burger!

Fried Chicken :) Love.

This dish is titled Black Cod and Chips! Lol no difference from any normal fish and chips though.

And there, we have... Salmon!

We went through great pains to get him this! Hope he like it. We love the Picard Wallet and belt so much that we want it for ourselves! hahaha. Buying presents is always so troublesome. Don't like it, but I believe in carefully choosing for friends :)

YES! C turned into a Yanzi fan! :D

I believe we all had a great night. It's going to be long before we meet each other again perhaps, hopefully we will still stay close. Nice brothers!

Contemporary Melting Pot & Bar
7 Dempsey Road
Food : 3/5
I don't find their food especially nice, they are just passable.
Price : 2/5
To complement with the more than normal tasting food, I would say it's kinda overpriced.
Atmosphere : 4/5
Not all bads, at least the atmosphere for this restaurant is something one can take away pleasant.
Service : 3/5
So-so.

If you are going to try it, I'm not going to stop you. It's subjective anyway!

Later part of the day, Y went to experiment J's DSLR, and here are some photos we've got.

LOL, not photoshopped!

Nice

If you didn't notice, Im occupying half of this picture! Hhahaha.

Alright, that should be all! :)
How was your weekend?
