Saturday.

Yes, it's the end of the week again and I'm releasing this week's chart results again to you people! A rather tough decision as to which song should come up tops in my chart this week, as I have to settle between Fish Leong, Gary Cao and Derrick Hoh. As you know, Stefanie Sun is releasing album, thus there is not much chances for other artistes to come up tops already as Stefanie Sun really rocks this time round, but still, I have to come to a conclusion.
Fish Leong wins my vote.
#1 比较爱 - 梁静茹

比较爱 comes from her compilation album, and is rather addictive. I placed this album inside my car and this track alone keeps repeating and repeating itself on my ipod as well as in my car. The essense of this song is rather sad and emo, as it basically displays a story of a boyfriend cheating on the girl, whereby he gives flowers to another girl and then tell her that he loves her on the next day. What this girl could do is only laugh, smile, and keep telling herself to love this guy more... sounds rather sad right ? Self deception? maybe. Since this song touched my heart and I am rather addicted to it, this song clinched the no.1 spot.
#2 悲歌王 - 曹格

Yes. This song was the no.1 song last week, and I actually hesitated whether to give this song another week of #1. Still, gary's ballads never fail to impress me. This song is probably one of his best.
#3 空位 - 何维健

8 weeks on chart, never hit #1. Since this song is rather old on chart, I wanted to give this song at least 1 week of #1. However, Fish song came just in time, so sorry Derrick.

Since this song is a debut for the week, into the top 10, I shall post the MV up too. You may say that I'm biased, but I seriously love this song alot! You bet! This MV will the the 1st MV you will see next week. :). I will do a review on her album once her album is out.

That's all for the MV heavy upper half of the post. Any mandarin songs you like? or would like me to listen to it? you are welcome to post your comments and views. :)

Disclaimer:
:: The above top 10 songs are purely my own preference.::

Have been rather busy, celebrating birthdays, attending SOKA meetings, preparing programmes, finding jobs. How to not feel stressed? No more income after army, hmm.. that sounds bad. May schools call me fast :). Any job lobangs?

So, do you agree that all troubles will go away once you see the cute toddler?

How about this, not only cute, but SEXY.

That should be all for this post. Back to writing my resume. :)

Meaningful Thursday

Yes, have been swimming for the past 3 days. If you have seen me recently, you will notice that I'm more tanned. Thanks to the sun.  I love it when I swim under big bright sun, its very comfortable.

Met C for a swim on tuesday.

Anchorvale  Community Centre is currently the nicest community centre in Singapore. Well, maybe because it's new. Look at the pictures of the swimming pool! The swimming pool is awesome! :)

Aren't they nice?

After I went for a swim in the morning, I realised that I've gotton a $6 summon, for overdue coupon. Oh well, what luck. :)

In the afternoon, Y came to my place to load music albums, which I have lots of them. Shall showcase to you in the next picture. For the past 11 years, I have been buying albums, albums after albums. I have the full collection of Stefanie Sun, JJ, F.I.R., Derrick Hoh, Jay Chou and what not. I'm so proud to be supporting the original. Do you people collect as many albums as me?

This is not all, maybe just sixty-percent. My bed isnt big enough to place all my albums.

Now do you believe that I'm an ultimate mandopop fan? 100% mandarin albums yea!

Took them out, packed them nicely. Nice collection of albums. Soon enough, I will do a review of Yanzi's latest album soon. So please check back!!

Hmm.. what a good website! :P

The album that I have been waiting for! 4 years! Yes, you heard it right - 4 years! This album is highly anticipated and rest assured, it will be a damn good album! Stefanie Rocks!

Later in the afternoon, went to S house to help him clear up his house, which was in a total mess.

Let's see, we have mop, dustpan, hose, wire cutter, tinner, clothes, sponge, anything you can think of.

We didn't know where to start and what to do, so we just help abit here and there. It was rather fun. The heavy rain didn't help at all.

After which, we went to have steamboat for dinner. Nice dinner. Sadly, I didn't have camera with me when we were having dinner, so.. no photos :(.

Hope you had a great day too!

Kids.

I have to get back to sleep in a jiffy as I have to wake up for dental checkup early early in the morning tomorrow. Before I get to sleep, I shall blog :).

Do you love kids? Kids seriously make my day everytime. Especially toddlers. The 3-7 yr olds running about, jumping around, playing your toys, talking and almost everything you can think of. Their innocence and naive feel never fail to amuse everyone around them.
The other day, while waiting for J and S at the Civil Service Club, I walked around and took quite a few photos. There I was, right beside the club's swimming pool, baby pool, and I saw the 2 kids playing happily in the waters. Climbed onto floats, went onto slides, waterguns etc. Screams and laughter really occupied the peaceful atmosphere. However, it was a good thing, because they felt happy and people around them felt happy too. I personally love this picture alot alot alot, dont you find that this picture has got a Wild WilD Wet feel?

Disclaimer:
::The kids in the picture aren't related to me, I just got to come across them by chance. ::

I also like the feel of this picture, filled with happiness. The colour contrasts and everything, and also the position of the boy and the toy, makes the picture perfect.

How I wish I was brought back to their age, where I can have all kinds of simple fun, and no troubles and worries. I believe they all had much fun!

Showcasing some pictures I took at the Civil Service Club

Nice picture, i love how the skinny and tall trees positioned themselves in the picture. Wonderful.

What a nice walkway!

Somehow I love the colour of the ceiling, it brought out a very nice feeling of the picture.

Back to the topic - KIDS.

The above picture are my nephews. This is one of the cutest picture that I have seen from them. They are brothers. Junior C is the playful one, Senior P is also playful, but less playful. Look at what Junior J is doing to Senior P, holding a mobile massager and placing it on Senior P's mouth! And also, his cheeky face! lol. Very cute of them! Senior P also played along with his unfinished Ice Lemon Tea pack.

This is kind of a blurred shot, but still, they looked damn cute! Now the massager is on Senior P's head. :)

Thanks to Junior C for this blurred photo, for him keep moving around. hyper active yea? But he looks rather cute here too!

Oh my, this is epic! Haha. Despite seeing these pictures more than once, I cant help but laugh. Junior C seriously makes my day.

She is already 12 yrs old, but she is still as cute as ever! Young H is an amazing and interesting soul!

Cheeky Senior P currently resting on the bolster, thinking of what to play next. Deep in thoughts yea?

I believe anyone will look cute with that fake spectacles! That includes me of course!

I love kids. Although they are such a trouble to take care and all, one smile from them seriously can offset all the complaints u had! Hope I can have many kids in future.

That's all for now. :)

J's Rockin' 21st!

I was so busy yesterday that I hardly had time for myself. Yesterday is one of my army best bud's birthday. And basically my whole day was occupied. 7km run in the morning, and next up, I proceeded on to the Civil Service Club. I initially wanted to visit the MOE yesterday to complete my applications for Relief Teaching, however, I didnt have the time. And so, happy birthday J!

This is just part of his cake. There's a cut. Later you will see the full view of this expensive cake. :)

Preparation work was rather hurried, but it was quite fun. Banners, balloons, lightings etc. Lots of materials brought up, and all to be done up before the party starts.

Materials. You see comscotch, decorative materials, balloons, tapes, my blackberry and my ipod touch. These are not all, wait till you see the rest.

S and I came to attach the comscotch to the self-designed banner by J, the banner is to be hung up at the entrance of the shed. The banner was quite well designed yea?

Hanging of the banner! We were both shorties, so it was a rather difficult task to hang the banner. Look at S, he stands at the top of the ladder already and he can only barely reach! I was taller btw. :)

I love this photo. The lightings and all. The photographer must have been damn skillful :)

Balloons! Black, Gold and Silver! Fit the theme of the party? Look at how excited J is.

Don't you find the picture looks like a potential magazine cover? I love how all 3 of us positioned ourselves and how we smile, not bad! Nice! P is the popstar of the night :)

What a wonderful sight! I think this area is an awesome place to hold a party! Right beside the swimming pool, gives people the feel of serenity and peace. Of course, the sound of waterfall, and children's laughter added on to the nice atmosphere.

I think for a party to be successful, a live band is a must! Either a live band, or attach very very good speakers and blast loud music! The whole party yesterday was accompanied by wonderful music, and songs. The band was good!

Of course, how could the birthday boy be spared from singing and perform? The live band dragged him up to the front and he presented 'Beautiful'.

This was his awesome cake.  Wonderful right ?  Everyone's heart ached, when the cake was being cut up to pieces and ready to be served. Oh well, this has to happen anyway.

After which, fireworks! Never did I know my camera could take such nice sparks! Great camera!

Yes, we searched high and low for his present and we have decided to buy this for J. Looking at his astonished and happy face after he saw the present, we felt relieved. It's never easy to buy presents, especially his. Hmm...

Army clique ftw!

Thoughts:
:: I love the way the party was planned out, and I love the live band. J must have spent a bomb in organising all these but it was all good! Yesterday was his BIG DAY and we can tell that he was very very happy. I wanted to do something like this for my 21st but i dropped the idea as it was alot of work. Oh well, I still love my 21st bday though. Was pretty bothered by some stuffs in the morning afternoon, but the mood was alot better towards the evening, and of course the happiest at night. Glad to see everyone so happy again. ::

So, how do you celebrate your 21st? Will it be as Rockin' as this?

Thinking Friday

Every friday is a big day. Those who know me will know that I have a habit of consolidating my favourite Mandarin Top 20 songs every week. This week, my top song is from Gary Cao - Ballad King. Gary's ballads are always so special that you will simply just be attracted to it. A very good choice to sing at kbox too :)

Try listening to this song when you have the time. It's definitely worth listening. Let me showcase to you my top 10 songs for this week.

Ok back to the post. Today is somewhat a thinking friday. I had a whole load of things in my mind which I can't get them off. Sometimes I just wonder is it me who have seen through alot of stuffs, and decided not to be so nice anymore, or have I really grown up. I understand people change, and I really should get myself to adapt to the changes. Undeniably, I've changed too. I've been through the worst moments as well as best moments.  Oh well. Maybe I am at fault. Hope for the best.

Deep in thoughts. Alright, pack up my mood and now I'm in a happy mood.

Do you like taking photos? I love it though. Photo spree again today.

This photo is taken from the fish pond at my house. I love the waterfall. Water means wealth, and wealth means happiness. Well, wealth doesn't necessary means happiness, but who doesn't want wealth?

I like the feel of this photo, shot through my black old gate. Honestly speaking, I didn't know my plants outside my house are such a beauty before I picked up the camera and started to look for beauty shots. I'm so glad to be living here. So peaceful and quite and so comfortable. :)

This looks beautiful too! These plants are just right beside the lot where I always park my small car. Whee !~

Yupp, went to citylink more to buy present for my dear friend J. Searching for his present is really a headache! We walked almost the whole of marina square and suntec, and we met together to walk around again, and we finally got a conclusion fo what to buy. Hmm..

After which, me and friend P went to The Pizza Place at Raffles City Shopping Centre for dinner. The food there was relatively delicious and cheap. The atmosphere was also quite okay.

:: Food : 3/5
:: Atmosphere : 3/5
:: Price : 4/5

Nice. Tomorrow is Friend J's big day! Look forward to more exciting and interesting blog post! :)

Hope you all had fun, and enjoyed reading this post. Cheers! :)

Lovey Dovey Thursday

After a hectic Wednesday, this morning, I actually had to drag myself out of my bed at 0730 hrs. Well, there isn't a need to wake up early since I'm supposed to be free the whole day, but I seriously do not like to wake up late and waste my day away.  Me waking up today was rather draggy because I really do not have enough sleep since I came back at around 1 yesterday after attending a farewell bbq, and of course, I slept at 2am.

Nevertheless, the 10km run this morning is still a must. Tired is never an excuse. As usual enough, when I got down to the kitchen, the first question my grandmother greeted me was, "Come, eat."  So after munching my breakfast, and watched my recorded drama serial, I quickly changed into PT Kit and grabbed my car keys and headed to the gym. The morning was not pleasant as

:: Firstly, I didn't have enough sleep ::
:: Secondly, my father was having a headache, making me worry for him ::

Ensuring my father took a rest at the bed, I decided to go to the gym.

Driving alone was never lonely, because I'm accompanied with soft toys. I love the soft toys in the car as they are cute. I grabbed the 2 bears and put them together, Lovey Dovey! I kinda like this picture. Both bears seems so loving and caring.

The day didn't start well as my mind was filled with thoughts. There was alot of thoughts going through my mind where I can't get them off my mind. Mainly because of what my superior said to us yesterday. The words actually made me miss the life back in camp.

As many of us were on our last working day yesterday, Superior X decided to give us his last speech before we go off to enjoy our large break before we were dismissed from the camp. It brought back memories. Memories after memories.

Yes, my adventure starts here, the first day I actually entered my workplace. Memories of how hard we had worked with each other, as well as the number of "saikangs" we had done together, and our glory as a company, makes me really miss camp life.

Superior X said he was very impressed with my batch of people as seen through the high key exercise in September, and would definitely miss all of us. The days that we actually shed blood and tears and sweat together had come to an end, and now half the company had already completed their service and the remaining will be leaving soon. The experience I got from army will never be forgotten and I'm glad and thankful that I had such experiences as not many would have similar experiences.

:: Learning to work with different people is also another important factor I've taken from the workplace, I've seen the best of people and the worst of people. As mentioned in the previous post, it's important not to be selfish. It takes a great deal of discipline to do so, resist peer influence. ::

Alright that's shall be all for work. Now I shall continue with my entry.

I like the feel of this photo, feels like you are being caged up. Speaks alot yea?

Love this place? The lightings and the structure of the buildings actually makes up to a perfect picture. I love how the lights interact with the plants as well as the structure of the building. Yishun SAFRA is actually a heaven if you have really opened your eyes to look at the surroundings.

The greens here are definitely beautiful. So glad that I actually brought my camera to the gym today.

See that rock climbing wall? It actually fits really well in the picture. Maybe we should give praise to the photographer for churning out such good photos :P

How about the pool?  Looks great yea?

After gymming, I picked up my car keys to head home. On my way home, I saw this very ancient vehicle. It is a Malaysia truck, but I would think it was an eye opener.

Care to guess how old this vehicle is? I reckon it is at least 30 yrs old.

The engine sound of this truck is loud enough that I can actually hear it very clearly inside my car under high music volume. Rarely one would see such vehicle in Singapore. Have you seen any? I wonder.

I love travelling along Lentor Ave, as the whole stretch of road is accompanied by nature. Your left, right, front are all greens! Look at how beautiful this picture is. There are many details you may have missed out in life. One part of it is the beauty of our environment I guess.

How's your Thursday like? Hope you have a wonderful thursday :)
